Where is Tempranillo grown?

Despite the fact that Spain is the motherland of Tempranillo, where it blossoms in places such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Toro, it is grown in other countries. Tinta Roriz is its name in Portugal and it is used for the production of Port wines. In the United States, especially in California and Texas, Tempranillo has been as a varitely or as a blending grape, which demonstrates the flexibility of this particular grape to different terroirs and winemaking styles.
