What is the difference between Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay?

Sauvignon Blanc is known to possess a zippy acidity and a refreshing nature with flavor accents like grapefruit, lime, green apple, and at times, herbaceous or grassy character. On the other hand, Chardonnay is generally full-bodied with a creamy texture and may show tastes of ripe tropical fruit, pear, apple, vanilla, and buttery notes, which are derived from oak aging and malolactic fermentation.
