Located in the Montagne de Reims wine district since 1625, Maison Champagne Cattier is a historic family-run estate, now led by the thirteenth generation in the person of Alexandre Cattier. The estate spans approximately 30 hectares, planted primarily with the two red grape varieties characteristic of the Champagne region: Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir.

The Brut Rosé Premier Cru is an elegant Champagne with a distinct personality, crafted from a blend of the region’s three primary grape varieties (Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay) with a predominance of red grapes. Its pink hue is achieved by directly adding red wine to the blend (a production technique permitted exclusively within the Champagne region). The blend also incorporates approximately 40% reserve wines, and the finished Champagne is aged on its lees for about three years.

The result is a wine with delicate pink tones and bright, orange-tinged highlights. On the nose, it reveals a rich, fragrant aromatic profile featuring notes of red berries, strawberry, and orange zest, with subtle hints of caramel and dried fruit. On the palate, it is generous and lively—fresh and complex—with a well-balanced acidity and a pleasant creaminess. The finish is long and persistent, with delicate touches of toffee. It makes an elegant aperitif and pairs beautifully with a wide variety of dishes, ranging from sushi and pan-seared salmon to various cheeses.
