The correct temperature at which Tempranillo wines are served is paramount for their ultimate enjoyment. The ideal for red wines, room temperature, especially in warmer climates or seasons, tends to be too hot and is mentioned in many sources. Tepmranillo tasting much better then slightly chilled to 60-65°F (15-18°C). Chilling helps keep the fruitiness, the acidity and the flavors of red fruit, spice and earth while not too cold to take away from its complexity. Do not serve Tempranillo too cold as too much chilling can make its aromas and flavor nuances dull.
