Trockenbeerenauslese or the shortened form TBA represents the dominant category of Austrian dessert wine made from the grapes that have been subjected to the grape-fungus Botrytis Cinerea in other words aptly and absolute ripening on the vine. Such dessert wines are known for their original taste which is attributed not only to their high level of sugars but also because of frequently present aroma of acid that certifies the structure of the wine and its freshness at the same time.
