Shiraz wines are highly appreciated in Australia, especially in Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. The Central Coast of California, which includes such areas as Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County, creates multiple style Syrah wines ranging from delicate and subtle to big and powerful. Notably, Western Cape in South Africa and Washington State in the US are also significant producers of Syrah.
