Is rosé wine sweet or dry?

Rosé wine is sold in three sweetness levels, dry, off-dry and sweet. Factors that dictate the sweetness of rosé include the grape variety, length of the skin contact during winemaking and residual sugar present in the wine. Although some rosé wines are designed to be very dry and crisp, other may show a sweetness of fruitiness, giving the consumers a wide choice of flavor profiles.
