Agincourt is a blend of French grapes, matured under the blazing Australian sun. Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 75%, Malbec makes up the remaining 25%, and together they form an intoxicating bouquet of ripe plum, blackberry, redcurrant, and dried herbs, balanced out by fresh hints of eucalyptus and freshly cut hedge.
Yarra Yering was founded in 1973 by Dr Bailey Carrodus, an Australian native and one of the first few pioneers to produce modern wines in Yarra Valley, in southeastern Australia. In fact, the first Yarra Yering vintage was also the first commercial wine to be made in Yarra Valley since 1929. These days, the winery is under the leadership of Sarah Crowe, who steered the estate to winning the James Halliday Winery of the Year and Wine of The Year in 2022.
On the palate, classic Cabernet notes of tart black and red berries mingle with smokey notes of plum, from the Malbec. It is sumptuous and deep in the mouth, with dense, angular tannins and juicy acidity. The mixture underwent malolactic fermentation and 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels before release, imparting a subtle oaky texture. Consider pairing Agincourt with sticky barbecue, a rich steak, or roast vegetables.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
