Located on the Golden Mile of New Zealand's Marlborough wine region, Whitehaven Wine Company was founded by married couple Sue and Greg White in 1994. The predominantly white wine company sources its grapes from several vineyards located throughout the region from Wairau Valley up to Kekerengu. Following Greg's passing in 2007, a line was established in his name that includes a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Noir.
This delicious rosé is produced with Pinot Noir grapes from the vineyards of Pauls Road (located in the Rapaura area) and Little Alfred (located in the Southern Valleys). The harvest is mechanical and the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruity character and freshness of the grapes.
Whitehaven Pinot Noir Rosé is a brilliant-looking wine with a pale blush pink color. The nose reveals a fresh and lively aromatic profile with notes of small fresh red fruits and wildflowers. On the palate, it is lean, refreshing, and delicate. The acidity is lively. The finish is long and recalls floral notes, and aromas of watermelon. Served slightly chilled, it is the ideal wine for a summer aperitif on its own or paired with vegetarian dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, fresh salads or smoked rainbow trout.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
