Nearly clear with the finest column streams of bubbles lifting to a delicate bead of effervescence on the surface, the non vintage Cava from the Cariñena DO is the perfect accompaniment to any celebration or gathering. This fresh sparkling wine has fruity green apple on the nose, with the delicate scent of fresh baked brioche that is characteristic of a well made Cava. Lively and fresh on the palate, it is a balanced and delicious wine that is perfect for any occasion, from brunch time tippling to midnight toasting.

Enjoy this fine example of Spanish Cava as an apertif, or alongside shellfish, cured meat or aged cheeses.

Following the Traditional Champenoise Methode of the highly regarded French Champagnes, Spanish Cava is similarly held to strict guidelines of production, resulting in the finest sparkling wine to be made. This particular DO, in the Aragon region of Spain, is one of the oldest protected growing areas in Europe. The reddish brown soil of the region is composed of limestone and loose rock with high calcium carbonate, as well as slate and clay, providing wonderful conditions to grow the traditional grapes used to make Cava- Macebeu, Xarel-lo and Parellada. In addition to those three varietals, Torito Bravo has also blended a bit of classic Blanc de Blanc varietal, Chardonnay. This combination has created a wonderful, well balanced Brut. Salute!
