The Tolaini winery was founded by Pierluigi Tolaini at the end of the 90s, in the southern area of the Chianti Classico wine region, and more precisely in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga. The company, which produces wines known internationally for their high quality, applies cutting-edge technologies in total harmony with the ancient local traditions and with the utmost respect for the terroir.

The Valdisanti of the Tolaini winery is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes in equal parts, coming from the San Giovanni vineyard, near San Giovanni a Cerreto. Here the vines are over 20 years old and are planted on sandy and tufaceous terraces. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels at a controlled temperature and the finished wine ages for 16 months in French oak barriques.

This elegant SuperTuscan has a ruby-red color with garnet nuances. The nose is intense and fragrant with aromas of sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla, ripe berries, and some mineral and herbaceous notes. On the palate, it is rich and round, full-bodied and soft with ripe tannins and a pleasant concentration of ripe fruit. The finish is long and persistent and recalls notes of sweet spices. Try it with a mixed grill of red meat.
