Terra de Cuques Blanc is a deep straw yellow in the glass, bursting with scents of white-fleshed fruit, flowers and minerality. After some time breathing, subtle hints of liquorice will appear. This white blend is composed of 60% Grenache Blanc and 40% Pedro Ximenez, making it a full-bodied, richly textured experience, unlike any other white wine you have tasted.
This is only the second white wine produced by Terroir al Límit, since the winery’s foundation in 2001. It is the brainchild of wine-maker Dominik Huber and enologist Eben Sadie, hailing from Germany and South Africa respectively. They met while working on Catalonian vineyards, and have come to know the region as well as any local. The fruits for this wine were harvested from La Morera de Montsant, a rugged and mountainous region of Tarragona in the northwest of Spain.
The palate is rife with rich, white fruits and summer flowers. It gives a first impression of rich, voluptuous character, before a nervy acidic side emerges underneath, with flavours of citrus and white currant. Terra de Cuques Blanc spent 6 months ageing in cement tanks before bottling. Consider pairing this wine with seafood, shellfish, or any dish with a lot of green herbs.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
