This deep red wine brims with aromas of pomegranate and blackberry, underpinned with herby hints of fennel, hibiscus and “Herbs de Provence”. It is an unfiltered expression of Priorat, crafted from the region’s classic red varieties: Grenache, which makes up 75% of the blend, and Carignan.
Terroir Històric is a line of wines from Terroir al Límit. Rather than focusing on extremely specific terroirs around Priorat, it aims to capture a sense of the whole by harvesting from several vineyards around the region. The winery was founded in 2001 by German wine-maker Dominik Huber and South African enologist Eben Sadie, who eschewed the use of oak for the purest fruit flavours possible.
This wine bursts with raspberry, cherry and pomegranate on the palate, with earthy garrigue notes and green hints of fennel. It is juicy and round in the mouth, with silky tannins and a vibrant acidity. The fruits were fermented in a neutral inox tank for 6 months. Crisp, balanced and easy to drink - it is designed to be the perfect introduction to red wine from Priorat. Consider pairing it with beef stew, meatballs with tomato, or nutty cheeses.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
