Tenuta di Gracciano Della Seta is one of the oldest wineries in the entire territory of Montepulciano. Originally owned by the Svetoni family, the cellar today belongs to Giorgio Della Seta, who took care of the renewal of the vineyards, and the construction of new and functional winemaking rooms next to the historic cellar that houses the wooden barrels for aging.

The company covers an area of about seventy hectares, of which about twenty are currently planted with vineyards. The plants, some of which are even 40 years old, are processed with the utmost respect for the environment and ecosystem and the company is converting its production into organic.

The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano of the Gracciano Della Seta estate is a red wine with character, decisive but elegant that is aged for 18 months in wood, partly in oak tonneau, and partly in large barrels. The olfactory profile is broad with floral and forest fruit aromas followed by notes of leather and spices. In the mouth, it is a rich and well-balanced wine with strong tannins and good acidity. The finish is persistent and characterized by notes of licorice. It is a wine ready to drink immediately, but which can evolve with a few years in the cellar. Try it with roast pork or red meat.
