The Serbian winery Temet is located in Lozovik, in the beautiful hilly landscape between Sumadija and Pomoravlje. The company follows a philosophy of modern traditionalism in the cellar and cultivates its vineyards organically. The estate covers approximately 38 hectares of vineyards, distributed in 19 plots.
Ergo red wine is a blend of mainly Merlot with the addition of Prokupac and Cabernet Sauvignon in equal parts. The grapes are sourced from vineyards located between 270 and 300 meters with different exposures and types of soil. The vinification takes place at controlled temperatures, separately for each type of grape. The wines mature in oak for 18-20 months before blending and bottling, and then for another year in the bottle before being released for sale.
It is red with an intense and dense color , and with a broad and complex aromatic profile. On the nose it shows fragrant notes of dark fruits (plum, blackberry, and blueberry), violets and licorice, and hints of chocolate and coffee in the background. On the palate, it is deep and concentrated, powerful and well-structured. It is elegant and well-balanced with grainy tannins and a long and fruity finish. It is the ideal wine with red meat stews.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
