Located in Lower Austria and more precisely in the Kamptal wine region, Schloss Gobelsburg is a winery that produces white and red wines and specializes in Grüner Veltliner and Riesling from single vineyards. Its vineyards extend near the town of Langenlois and the village of Göbelsburg, on beautiful slopes and terraces overlooking the Kamp River valley. The company has a very long history and the ancient cellar dates back to the 12th century.

The Gruner Veltliner grapes all come from the Ried Renner vineyard, located under the terraces of Mount Gaisberg. Here the deep, mineral-rich soils guarantee the production of elegant and wonderfully balanced wines. After fermentation, the wine rests in Austrian oak barrels for 1 and a half years.

This wine reveals a brilliant color with golden-yellow tones. Its aromatic profile is intense and broad with citrus notes, fragrant aromas of broom flowers, and hints of flint. On the palate, it is juicy and lively, well-structured, and perfectly balanced. It has vibrant acidity, light spicy hints, and a long, fresh, and mineral finish with a touch of sapidity. It is the ideal wine with pork, roasted, or served with an apple sauce.
