Located in Meursault in the venerated Burgundy wine region, Domaine Remi Jobard is a small family estate spanning approximately 8 hectares of vineyards, including some high-altitude plots in Meursault and several 1er cru parcels. The estate has been certified organic since 2011.
The Chardonnay grapes come from a small parcel of less than half a hectare adjacent to the 1er Cru Gouttes d'Or. Here, the vines, over 30 years old, are grown according to organic farming standards and rooted in chalk-rich soil. After harvest, fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts. The finished wine rests half in barrique and half in foudre before aging for 6 months in stainless steel and bottling.
In the glass, Remi Jobard Meursault En Luraule reveals a yellow color with greenish highlights. Its aromatic profile is broad and fragrant, with fruity notes of citrus and plums, white flowers, and a few vegetal nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and concentrated, juicy and lively, with a refreshing acidity and a long finish with light saline and mineral notes. It is very versatile when paired with food: it goes well with Dover sole and swordfish, mac & cheese, and roast chicken with Provençal herbs.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
