Located in New Zealand's Wairau Valley, Rapaura Springs is an award-winning, young winery. The first harvest dates back to 2007, although in reality the property was purchased by the Neylon and Wiffen families in 1985, used as a mechanical workshop, and later transformed into a winery in 2005. Today the company produces various lines of wines based on Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay.

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are selected and harvested manually from vineyards located on clayey soils. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and then left to macerate on the skins for about 12 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, to preserve the aromatic intensity and freshness of the grapes.

The Rapaura Springs Sauvignon Blanc Blush has a clear color with pale pink tones. On the nose, it reveals a fragrant bouquet with notes of fresh forest berries such as raspberry and strawberry and hints of stone fruit. On the palate, it is lively and juicy, with a marked acidity and excellent concentration of fruit. The finish is refreshing and thirst-quenching. It is excellent as a summer aperitif with fish-based finger foods, or with smoked salmon.
