The Georgian Qimerioni Winery has been located in the heart of the Kakheti wine region, in the village of Chumlaki, since 2012. Here, winemaking traditions date back to 8,000 BC, and wine has always been an integral part of daily family and community life. The company focuses its production on local grape varieties, crafting wines that reflect the terroir. In the winery, traditional practices, such as the use of Qvevri (terracotta amphorae, usually buried underground), combine with the latest technology to ensure top-quality wines.

Saperavi is one of Georgia's most iconic grape varieties, a symbol of the country's winemaking renaissance. In inland regions like Kakheti, this grape thrives, producing intense wines with good aging potential.

In the glass, Qimerioni Saperavi reveals an intense ruby ​​color and a broad, rich aromatic profile with notes of ripe berries such as blackberry and plum, alternating with delicate toasted hints due to the oak aging. On the palate, it is deep and round, generous and harmonious, with ripe tannins and a lively vein of refreshing acidity. The finish is long and recalls fruity notes. It is the perfect wine with grilled lamb and beef, pasta with ragu or chili con carne.
