The Piedmontese winery Poderi Luigi Einaudi was founded in 1897 and is still managed by the founder's descendants. The estate, located in Dogliani, a prime Dolcetto winemaking area, boasts approximately 60 hectares of vineyards spread across the Langhe hills and some of the finest Barolo crus.

The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested from vineyards located in the municipality of Dogliani, in the province of Cuneo, at an altitude of approximately 380 meters above sea level. The vines, planted in 2003, enjoy an eastern exposure and are rooted in marl-limestone-clay soils. After harvesting and vinifying in stainless steel and cement vats, the finished wine ages in oak for a year and a further two months in bottle.

In the glass, Poderi Luigi Einaudi Langhe Nebbiolo reveals an elegant color with intense cherry tones. Its aromatic profile opens with fruity notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and cassis interspersed with spicy notes. On the palate, it is rich and fruity with a youthful, approachable character. It has a good body and a long, spicy finish. Try it with pork escalopes with mushrooms, porcini risotto, and grilled red meats.
