Located down a dirt track just a short drive from the Silverado Trail, Neyers Vineyards is the passion project of Bruce and Barbara Neyers who bought the property in 1992. Bruce and Barbara met in fifth grade and Bruce fell in love with French wine after an officer introduced him to it while he was serving in South Korea. Not long after, he left the military and the couple moved to California to start their careers in the wine industry.
For many years Bruce worked at Joseph Phelps Winery followed by Kermit Lynch while Barbara became chef and manager of the world-famous Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley. The couple have used this wealth of experience to set-up their very own winery in a stunning rural location surrounded by dramatic steep hillsides and scrubby slopes. They are best known for their Chardonnays like this stunning example which is crafted exclusively from three vineyards in Carneros.
To create a rich, characterful wine, the must is fermented using indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels. Before bottling the wine is then aged in oak to add a luscious, creamy texture and long finish with subtle hints of toast and vanilla spice. Try pairing with roasted chicken, creamy fish dishes, or hearty winter salads.

I like the range of wines, the usa wines, the "wine-packs" maybe the most and for sure a lot of not everywhere to buy wines. price is ok, would love to see more icons priced to a "cannot leave the website without ordering" price.
