Mirabeau Azure Provence Rose 2021

Mirabeau's dream had long been with Stephen Cronk and his wife Jeany, but it wasn't until 2008 that they chose to leave London with their children, move to France and start their project of making wine. Four years later, their wines were considered to be among the best in the region.

Based in the picturesque Provencal village of Cotignac, Mirabeau currently extends over 200 hectares of vineyards, in some of the highest territories in the Cotes-de-Provence appellation. Their vineyards are managed sustainably, using the French method called Lutte Raisonée, with as little human intervention as possible. Their wines have won a myriad of awards, including gold medals in Paris, Lyon, and The Drinks Business Rosé Masters and always get enthusiastic reviews from critics.

The Azure Provence Rosé from Domaine Mirabeau is an elegant wine with intense aromas of pink grapefruit, white peach, and strawberry. On the palate, it is generous and deliciously round, with balanced acidity and a refreshing citrusy finish. Drink it now chilled at around 8° C. It is the perfect summer drink but it also goes very well with pork, chicken, tuna, vegetarian tarts and ratatouille.
