Founded by Marc Colin in 1970 in Saint Aubin, a lesser-known but highly regarded appellation in Burgundy, Domaine Marc Colin et Fils now covers around 19 hectares of vineyards spread across over 25 prestigious appellations and including some Premier Cru sites in Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, and Chassagne-Montrachet. This Chardonnay-focused estate is widely recognized and appreciated for its excellent white wines.

The Chardonnay grapes are carefully selected and hand-picked from vineyards planted in 1998 and 1972 on the dry, flat clay soils of the Puligny-Montrachet area. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels where the wine rests for 10 months on the lees.

This delicious Bourgogne Chardonnay is an elegant and easy-drinking wine, with a fragrant and broad aromatic profile. The nose reveals notes of yellow fruit and acacia honey, hints of honeysuckle and brioche, and a chalky background. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with a strong mineral vein and a medium body. It has a refreshing acidity. It is juicy and tense, lean and persistent. It is excellent with freshwater fish such as pike, seafood, and snails in Burgundy style.
