Located in the fertile Kakheti wine region of eastern Georgia, the Lomtadze family winery produces high-quality wines, known throughout the world and awarded in various international competitions. The company, established in the 20th century, owns vineyards that extend for approximately 2 hectares and cultivates indigenous Georgian grapes organically. In the cellar, the wines are vinified using classic techniques and ancient, traditional methods.

Lomtadze Family Wine Tetra Qvevri is produced with grapes from the indigenous Tsulukidzis Tetra grape variety from the Georgian region of Racha. After the harvest, fermentation takes place in underground terracotta containers with a pointed bottom, traditionally called Qvevri. The company still keeps examples of these amphorae which date back to the 20th century in its cellar.

The wine has a bright golden color and a fragrant and broad aromatic profile with notes of tropical fruit, such as pineapple and melon, pear and peach, white flowers, and then vegetal, citrus, and honey hints. On the palate, it is silky and elegant with a subtle sweet streak and well-balanced acidity. The tannins are soft and gentle and the finish is long and slightly citrusy. It is excellent with spicy oriental dishes.
