Sharing the same qualitative philosophy about wine, Yves Guilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard are the three friends behind the domain Les Vins de Vienne. In the heart of the Rhône Valley, on 60% slopes, surrounded by prickly pears and cicadas, the Domaine Les Vins de Vienne produces authentic, expressive, and very distinctive wines. 16 hectares of vines are cultivated around the Château des Archbishops on the most beautiful appellations of the region.

This elegant Gigondas is produced from a blend of 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 5% Mouvèdre from stony alluvial soils with laminated pebbles and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and concrete vats. Iits name, "Les Pimpignoles", means "ladybug" in patois, an important friend of all winegrowers.

The wine shows a beautiful purplish color and intense aromas of ripe red fruits. In the mouth, it is silky with a nice balance of red fruit jam, good acidity, and persuasive tannins. This is a powerful wine that also knows how to show us all its finesse. The natural strength of this wine and the scent of its aromas will match perfectly with game, grilled red meats, or duck with mushrooms.
