One of the pioneering wineries in Margaret River in Western Australia, the story of Leeuwin Estate dates back to 1969 when local businessman Denis Horgan purchased the property. Three years later the estate was visited by the famous American winemaker Robert Mondavi who had realised the high potential of the Margaret River region and advised the Horgans during the early years of the project.

Today Leeuwin Estate is best known for their sensational Art Series Chardonnay which has a cult following thanks to the property’s exceptional microclimate and very low yields. Also from their Art Series is this stunning Riesling made from estate-grown fruit. The variety thrives here thanks to the sunny summer days and cooling sea breezes which help to lock in plenty of zingy freshness and delicate aromatics.

The vibrant nose is bursting with lemongrass, lime, jasmine and hints of basil and kaffir leaf while the first sip reveals a mouthwatering acidity, light body and pure, clean finish with a subtle salty minerality. The crisp and elegant flavour profile makes it a great match for sushi, seafood, grilled fish or leafy summer salads. Ideal for enjoying now or cellaring for another couple of years if desired.
