The first sip reveals a bright acidity, an elegant light texture, and vibrant citrus, peach, and melon flavours which linger on the tongue. The ethereal structure and vibrant freshness make this an ideal partner for salads, grilled Mediterranean vegetables, and fragrant and spicy Asian dishes like pad thai.
The grapes for this classic Sauvignon Blanc are sourced from three different vineyard sites in Marlborough; the Waihopai vineyard, Awatere vineyard and the Charles Wiffen plot. These sites have been carefully chosen by the winemaking team at Lawson’s because they offer perfect conditions for growing exceptional Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The team also works to high environmental standards and is certified under the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand organisation to preserve the land in the best possible state for the generations to come.
Each vineyard is only harvested at optimum maturity to ensure the finished wine is as delicious as possible. To enhance the natural beauty of the grapes, a small proportion is fermented using wild yields which adds extra complexity to the final blend.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
