This wine comes from the top wine co-op in France, La Chablisienne, founded back in the 1920s in Burgundy, under the guidance of Abbé Balitrand. By now, they have grown to nearly 300 members across just over 1200 hectares. To ensure the maximum expression of the different parcels, each winemaker can maintain control over the entire winemaking phase, while the cooperative intervenes to complete the aging process and refining and takes care of marketing and commercialization.
For this fancy Chardonnay, they're picking grapes from vines that are 40 years old and planted on the typical Chablis amazing soil – Kimmeridge limestone with more marine fossils which makes the wines complex, mineral, and rich.
When you pour this golden-hued wine into the glass, your nose will catch whiffs of green apples, herbs, a touch of flint, and then some white flowers in the background. There's even a hint of spice. Take a sip and you will find it's got substance: it's rich and structured, but there's a freshness to it that makes it well-balanced. It has got an underlying minerality and it's elegant and deep. Have it with white meats, or grilled sea bream, or enjoy it as an elegant aperitif with fancy seafood appetizers.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
