This delicate salmon pink rosé opens with seductive aromas of crushed strawberries, raspberry jam and subtle floral hints. The first sip reveals a crisp acidity which is both refreshing and invigorating on a hot summer’s day, along with a medium body, rich wild berry flavours and a clean herbal finish. Fresh seafood or pan-fried fish served with seasonal grilled vegetables would be an ideal partner for this lively cuvee, although it is also ideal for enjoying on its own by the pool or to treat your guests to an elegant pre-dinner aperitif.

The Krauthaker estate is located in eastern Croatia’s renowned Kutjevo wine region and the winery sits on the southern slopes of Krndija. Here the climate and soil conditions provide an excellent basis for crafting fine wines from both local indigenous and international grape varieties. Plenty of sunshine during the summer and well-draining sandy soils help to ensure that grapes can reach optimal ripeness while retaining enough acidity to provide balance in the finished wine.

Their Rosé Cuvee is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Zweigelt which are carefully selected from Krauthaker’s vineyards. After the harvest they are vinified in stainless steel tanks to create a fruit-forward wine which showcases the delicious fruity flavours and aromas from the five different grape varieties.
