Located in the Goriška Brda wine region of Slovenia, on the border with the Italian Collio, the Klet Brda cooperative winery brings together around 400 winemakers. The vineyards, that are treated with sustainable practices, extend over approximately 1000 hectares. Here the vines, mainly planted with white varieties, enjoy a particularly favorable microclimate and soils that guarantee excellent minerality in the wines.
The Chardonnay grapes come from terraced vineyards located between 50 and 250 meters above sea level, with plants aged between 10 and 30 years. The harvest is manual and fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine then rests for 12 months, before blending and a further refinement phase in large barrels.
Klet Brda Bagueri Chardonnay shows a beautiful bright yellow color with some golden highlights. Its aromatic profile is full and broad with fresh notes of citrus, melon, and stone fruit, followed by hints of hazelnuts and vanilla. In the mouth, it has a good consistency and a marked mineral vein. It is silky and rich, but also fresh and well-balanced. Perfect with veal ossobuco, or with mushroom and truffle risotto.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
