A tropical bouquet of mango, papaya, apricot and honeysuckle burst from the nose of this syrupy icewine. It is made from 100% Vidal Blanc, harvested from prime plots across the Niagara Peninsula and pressed while frozen to obtain this unctuous mixture, with extremely concentrated flavours.
Jackson-Triggs was founded in 1993 by pioneers Donald Triggs and Allan Jackson. It is one of Canada’s leading wineries, and in its 30-year tenure it has also become one of the most awarded. The winery takes its fruits from vineyards in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and most importantly, the Niagara Peninsula - the home of Canadian icewine.
This Reserve does an incredible balancing act in the mouth, providing weight and richness, while keeping a lively, sunny character. Look for honeyed notes of peaches, plums and pears, with a notable citrus bite and hints of spice on the lengthy finish. Icewine is a truly luxurious experience, and this bottle from Jackson-Triggs is one of the best available. Icewine can be aged like regular still wine, in a cellar that stays consistently between 12 and 18°C. Consider pairing this with wine creamy cheeses, fruit salad, or spicy Asian dishes.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
