The Hubert Brochard winery has a long history and winemaking tradition dating back to 1900, when it was founded in the Loire Valley. Here, in the village of Chavignol, the company produces excellent wines based on Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, from its over 90 hectares of vineyards spread across the Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé appellations.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are sourced from the finest parcels of our Château de Fontaine-Audon, on exclusively siliceous soil, where the vines' roots reach deep into the soil, drawing in a wealth of minerals. After harvest and vinification, the majority of the wine ages on the lees for six months in stainless steel tanks, while a small portion rests in amphorae. This step allows the wine to preserve its acidity and freshness while adding complexity.
The result is an elegant and lively wine, capable of aging well for several years. Its aromatic profile is broad and intense, with notes of green apple, vibrant citrus, and exotic fruit on a flint background. On the palate, it is taut, energetic, and vibrant. But its predominant characteristic is its distinctive minerality. It is delicate and crisp, with refreshing acidity and a long, savory finish. It pairs perfectly with goat cheese, sushi, and seafood. Try it also with Asian cuisine.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
