Founded by Phil Sexton, Giant Steps is an Australian winery located in the Yarra Valley town of Healesville that produces world-class wines. Sexton is joined by Steve Flamsteed, chief winemaker, and business partner, who has been instrumental in producing some of the finest examples of single vineyard wines in the region. The company focuses production on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Bordeaux blends that highlight the unique terroirs of the best vineyards in the region. Their ultra-modern cellar is one of the must-see wine tourism destinations.

The Chardonnay grapes come from five of the main vineyards owned and/or managed by Giant Steps (Sexton, Gruyere Farm, Tarraford, Applejack, and Wombat Creek Vineyards). The blending of grapes from different vineyards ensures a complete view of the quality of Yarra Valley wines.

Giant Steps Yarra Valley Chardonnay is an elegant and intense wine. On the nose, the wine reveals delicious notes of ripe stone fruit, with subtle spicy and nutty nuances. On the palate, it is lively and intensely flavorful with a delicate structure and vibrant acidity. The finish is long and recalls mineral notes. Perfect with aubergine-based dishes or with chicken Caesar salad.
