Famous for the great skills of its owner Angelo Gaja and the extraordinary quality of its Barbaresco wines, the Gaja winery was founded in 1859. Today, the company owns approximately 92 hectares of vineyards and produces white and red wines acclaimed all over the world by critics and the public, thanks to the commitment and innovative approach of Angelo Gaja and his family, who help him in the company. The cellar is located in the historic center of the village of Barbaresco, in Piedmont.

This elegant white wine is produced with pure Chardonnay grapes, coming from vineyards of approximately 40 years of age located in the Langhe wine area. After fermentation in barrique, the finished wine is aged for 12 months in the barrel and then rests for a further 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

Gaja & Rey is a soft wine with a straw yellow color and intense golden reflections. Its aromatic profile is mature and complex with notes of ripe yellow fruit, flowers, and vanilla, with some mineral and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is round and silky, with a strong acidic streak. The finish is long and warm and recalls light almond notes. Excellent with fish.
