Historic winery located in the Syrmia wine region in Serbia, Erdevik takes its name from the village where it is located, which in turn takes its name from a Hungarian word meaning forest area. Here, on the slopes of Fruška Gora at about 100-140 meters above sea level, the company grows international grape varieties for the production of excellent wines that are widely appreciated by the public and critics.
The award-winning Omnibus Lector is one of the most internationally popular Serbian wines, made from 100% Chardonnay, and fermented and aged in oak barrels.
In the glass, the wine reveals a beautiful bright yellow color with light greenish hues. On the nose, it shows an intense and broad aromatic profile with delicious notes of tropical fruit and Golden apples followed by hints of vanilla and pastry. On the palate, it has a velvety texture and a full body. It is a characterful white, round, and mineral with a well-defined acidity and a refreshing citrus juiciness. The finish is long and pleasant and recalls notes of sweet spices. With food, it is extremely versatile: it is excellent with baked pasta with béchamel, with poultry, with seafood, and with full-fat cheeses.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
