Dominio del Aguila was founded in 2010 as a personal project of the oenologist Jorge Monzón and his partner Isabel Rodero. Here Jorge Monzon applies all the experience gained during his time in several prestigious wineries such as Romanée Conti, Vega Sicilia, and finally Bodegas Arzuaga where he spent 9 years. From their old vine plants, they produce small volumes of unique wines with a great personality and finesse. The estate covers 30 hectares, located in the small town of La Aguilera, within the designation of origin of Ribera del Duero.

Dominio del Aguila Albillo Vinas Viejas is produced with Albillo grapes from 70-year-old vines and vinified in purity. The must ferments in oak barrels French at low temperatures for 10 months, on the lees.

This wine features all the personality and freshness of the Albillo grape but has the character of a great Burgundy white. In the glass, it shows a beautiful golden color. The floral aromas are intertwined with notes of yellow plum and peach, hints of flint, and a final note of cedar and toast. In the mouth, it is voluminous and dense, round with good freshness.

Enjoy it now paired with chicken or turkey, or cellar for up to 10 years.
