Domaine A.J. Ferret is located in the Mâconnais wine region of France and boasts a long-standing tradition dating back to 1840. In 2008, Maison Louis Jadot acquired the estate, comprising 18 hectares of vineyards, and has continued the Ferret family's work, producing wines of exceptional character.

The Chardonnay grapes come from some of the finest plots within the Fuissé amphitheater. Here, vines planted between 1947 and 2020 root themselves in soils of rare geological complexity, ranging from shallow clay-limestone and deeper clay soils to smaller sections of schist and sedimentary sands of volcanic origin. Following the harvest, vinification takes place separately for each vineyard: in stainless steel for grapes from granitic soils and in barrels for those from clay-limestone soils. The wines are then aged for approximately 18 months, partly in barrels and partly in tanks, before blending and bottling.

The Pouilly-Fuissé from Domaine J.A. Ferret is an emblematic wine that perfectly embodies the great complexity of the Fuissé terroir. On the nose, it reveals a broad, fresh aromatic profile featuring notes of citrus and Mediterranean herbs set against a mineral backdrop. On the palate, it is elegant, delicate, and lively, with savory touches and well-balanced acidity. It is round and fresh, with a long finish that echoes a distinctive mineral character. It is an ideal pairing for shellfish and mollusks, but can also complement goat cheese and veal scaloppine.
