Domaine Henri Boillot is located in Meursault and owns vines in the Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay appellations. Since 1885, the Boillot family has been at the head of the 19-hectare estate. In white, Chardonnay covers 7 hectares in Meursault, Corton-Charlemagne or Puligny-Montrachet. In red, Pinot Noir grows in the Pommard and Volnay appellations. Henri Boillot is in charge of the vinification of the estate's whites. For the rest, his son, Guillaume Boillot, took over.
The Clos de la Mouchère vineyard covers four landlocked hectares in the premier cru Les Perrières: an exceptional terroir that produces a deep and mineral Chardonnay. The 14 months' aging in the barrel gives the wine structure and density.
This Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchère Monopole is a first-rate Chardonnay. The nose is very elegant with white flowers, ripe fruit, and a touch of spice. In the mouth, the wine is deep and powerful, ideally combining richness, minerality, and lively acidity. It is a wine of rare concentration with an exceptional aromatic profile.
Try it with lobster, poultry or fish served with white sauces.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
