Located in Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine Alain Chavy is a small Burgundy estate founded in 2003 when Alain inherited a portion of the family vineyards. The estate now has around 6.5 hectares of vineyards, spread across two of Puligny Montrachet's finest Premier Cru sites (Folatières and Clavoillon), as well as a small holding in Les Pucelles. Renowned for producing excellent value wines, the estate also owns the deepest underground cellar in the village.
The Chardonnay grapes are harvested manually from vines over 20 years old. After fermentation in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, the wine rests on the lees in barrels (30% of which are new) for 1 year and for a further 6 months in tanks.
Saint Aubin Premier Cru En Remilly has a rich and captivating aromatic profile with delicious notes of ripe citrus and floral scents, followed by a final touch of minerality. On the palate, it reveals a medium body and a sharp acidity. It is elegant and balanced, fruity and linear, complex and silky, with a pleasant fruit concentration and a long and persistent finish that recalls clear mineral notes. It is a wine ready to enjoy now with salmon or smoked trout, with veal or poultry, but can also remain in the cellar for a few years.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
