Created by Vincent Delaporte, the Domaine Delaporte is now run by his grandson Matthieu with a masterful hand since his arrival in 2010 at the age of 22. His modern vision of viticulture led him to work the plots separately. Thanks to the variety of terroirs at his disposal, the young winegrower produces superb plot cuvées through organic viticulture and meticulous vinifications. The vineyards, located in Chavignol, extend over more than 12 hectares of flint soil. The estate has cult plots such as Monts Damnés, Cul de Beaujeu and La Côte.
The grapes come from the vineyard on the coast of the Monts Damnés which is located on a very rugged and steep hill of Chavignol on the soil of Kimmeridgian marl and was planted around the tenth century by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Saint-Satur.
The wine has a splendid golden color. The nose is powerful and rich in flavors where fruits and white flowers predominate, with very ripe pear and peach, enhanced by nuances of noble spices and balsamic notes. In the mouth, the wine is round, dense, and velvety with a balanced freshness and a salty and persistent finish. Have it with tuna or mackerel.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
