Brothers Daniel and Georges were forced to flee their Lebanese homeland for France as children when a bomb blast destroyed their home and left them with lasting injuries. While in France they fell under the spell of winemaking, although it was only when they both emigrated to the United States to pursue engineering degrees that they were able to explore this burgeoning passion.
In 2007 they stumbled upon a perfect plot of land in the Adelaida District of the Paso Robles appellation after 8 fruitless years of searching for the right spot to found their winery. It’s set on a hilltop which legendary winemaker André Tchelistcheff called “a jewel of ecological elements”. Conditions here are ideal for growing both white and black grape varieties, including the Grenache and Sauvignon Blanc used in this stunning bottling.
Inspired by the enchanting rosé wines of Provence, this elegant and crisp wine makes the perfect aperitif or partner for salads, sushi and fresh seafood. The nose is beautifully perfumed with enticing hints of fresh strawberries, peaches and watermelon underlaid by gentle notes of cherry, honey, and almond blossom. It’s best served chilled to emphasise the mouthwatering freshness and bright citrus and stone fruit flavours which dominate on the palate.
