Located on the sun-baked, windblown inlet of Hawke’s Bay, under the gaze of Te Mata Peak, Craggy Range Winery is the home of pure, terroir-driven New Zealand wine. It was established in 1998 by the Peabody family, with one eye firmly fixed on becoming one of the biggest wine producers in the world.
The grapes for this wine were sourced from Martinborough, on the southern tip of New Zealand’s North Island. “Te Muna” is a Māori phrase meaning “secret/special place”, and for fans of Riesling, this will almost certainly ring true. This wine offers a special twist on the aromatic grape, packed with juicy and distinctly New Zealand character.
The nose is pungent, with scents of lime leaf, ripe lemon and delicate hints of rose petal. At its heart, this Riesling is a fresh, invigorating wine, with brilliant tension and a core of pure lemon. You can also discover vibrant citrus flavours of grapefruit, lime and mandarin peel, underpinned by a wiry acidity. This is a top-shelf Riesling, capable of ageing and evolving in the cellar for some time. It will be an excellent partner for spicy shrimp dishes, pork, or any kind of fresh seafood with a lemon twist.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
