Chateau Sainte Marguerite extends over 100 hectares. Overlooking the sea, the Domaine was created in 1929 by the concert performer André Chevillon, on a vineyard that had been cultivated since ancient times. In love with the château, Brigitte and Jean Pierre Fayard bought it in 1977 and, with their sons and stepchildren, continue this work of excellence by producing wines that are known all over the world. 65% of the production is rosé, while 20% is red and 15% is white.
Symphonie rosé Sainte Marguerite has become a staple of Provence wines. The Fayard family provides considerable work every year to stay on top of the Cotes de Provence appellation. The terroir of La Londe is fully expressed in this cuvée Symphonie.
This wine surprises the nose with its delicious fruitiness made of raspberries and cassis. In the mouth, the sensation is slightly tart with flavors of peach, citrus peel and exotic fruits. This Sainte Marguerite rosé is fine and elegant. It should be served at 9 - 10° C, as an aperitif, with seafood, crab, tuna or trout or with vegetarian tarts.
