Located in Washington State's Columbia Valley, Charles Smith Winery was founded in the late 1990s and produces a wide range of award-winning wines that reflect the winemaking soul of this up-and-coming US state.
The Pinot Noir grapes come from the Evergreen Vineyard located in the Ancient Lakes, on cliffs overlooking the Columbia River. Here, the vines, planted in 1998, enjoy a cool climate influenced by the proximity of the stream and are rooted in soils composed of basalt, gravel, silt, and caliche. These conditions allow the Pinot Noir to express itself fully, releasing a mineral character and rich acidity. After harvest, whole-cluster fermentation occurs spontaneously in stainless steel, and the finished wine ages for four months on its lees.
The Pure Wine Pleasure Sex Pinot Noir Rosé is a youthful and lively wine with a limpid, bright color with pale apricot hues. On the nose, it reveals a broad and fragrant bouquet with aromas of stone fruit and watermelon, passion fruit, and wild flowers. On the palate, it is silky and thirst-quenching, fresh and delicate with a smooth texture and a long, fruity finish. It is excellent as a summer aperitif, but is also versatile when paired with food. Try it with tomato tarte tatin, grilled salmon, spicy tuna rolls, and pasta with cherry tomatoes.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
