Champagne Petit et Bajan Ambrosie Grand Cru

Candied lemon, brioche, honeysuckle and pineapple characterise the nose, while the palate offers rich tropical fruit flavours balanced by zesty citrus and toasted almonds. The generous stream of tiny bubbles become a soft mousse in the mouth which is complemented by a vibrant acidity and creamy texture from the six years of maturation in the bottle on the lees.

A true grower Champagne, the Ambrosie is the result of a romantic love story which culminated in the marriage of Richard Petit and Véronique Bajan, and the union of their families’ Champagne houses. The couple soon found that they were an ideal match in winemaking as well, with Véronique taking the lead in the cellar and Richard managing the vines.

The grapes used to craft this elegant Champagne are sourced from stunning Grand Cru vineyards belonging to the two families; 70% is Chardonnay from Avize and 30% is Pinot Noir from Verzenay. This harmonious combination blends the rich, chalky character of the Chardonnay with the sweet red fruit and softness of the Pinot. An ideal wine to celebrate a special occassion or simply to savour over a delicious meal with close friends and family.
