A bouquet of honey, pear and lemon zest rises from each glass of this Blanc de Blancs Champagne. It is made from 100% Chardonnay, harvested from the region of Chouilly, in the Côte des Blancs. This is where Legras eat Haas have made their home, amidst a patchwork selection of Grand Cru vineyards in the heart of Champagne.
Founded in 1991 by François Legras and Brigitte Haas, the family estate is now in the safe hands of their three sons, Olivier, Rémi and Jérôme. The family were grape growers before the foundation of the winery, so the three brothers represent the sixth generation to be involved in the wine industry.
This Champagne is creamy from the very beginning, evolving into a full mid-palate with hints of honeysuckle, white-fleshed fruits and citrus. A cleansing acidity drives the experience into a lengthy finish. It has the potential to evolve further with some ageing in the bottle, but Legras et Haas recommend drinking this wine within 4 to 5 years, to enjoy its freshness. Consider pairing this wine with soft and creamy cheese, elegant seafood or on its own, as an aperitif.

I have tried to reach the support and I have only succeeded to get the answer with the third attempt, but It was too late to act already. That was disappointing because it made me miss out on a wine I was really looking forward to taste... The rest was up to my satisfaction.
