Located in the village of Epernay, Maison Esterlin is a cooperative Champagne house founded in 1948 by the Fransoret, Dehu, and Cadestin families. Initially composed of 29 members, the winery now boasts around 400, with over 210 hectares of vineyards cultivated in the Côte des Blancs, both around Epernay and in the Côteaux du Sézannais and Marne Valley. The headquarters, on the prestigious Avenue de Champagne, is located in an elegant Palladian-style villa.

Champagne Esterlin Brut Eclat is a blend of mostly Pinot Meunier with additions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the southern hills of the Marne Valley in Epernay, Mancy Valley, and Côteaux de Sézanne. A 30% reserve wine from the house's Solera system, begun in 1972 and enriched annually with a portion of the harvest from the cuvée, is added to the current year's wine.

In the glass, the wine reveals a clear and brilliant golden yellow color, enhanced by a lively and persistent perlage. Its aromatic profile is intense and fragrant with fruity notes of baked apple, ripe pear, apricot, peach, quince, dried fruit, and honey. On the palate, it is round, soft, and fruity, with a fresh character and a creamy texture. The finish is long and refreshing. Have it with fish and vegetable tempura.
