Champagne Cattier is one of the most renowned family-run wineries in the Montagne de Reims, boasting a long history that dates back to its founding in 1625 and spans thirteen generations. Today, the estate, covering approximately 30 hectares, is led by Alexandre Cattier.

Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is a Champagne produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Maison's nine preferred terroirs, including Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses, and Rilly-la-Montagne, with the addition of 12% reserve wines. Following the harvest and vinification, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle according to the traditional Méthode Champenoise and is then aged on the lees for three years prior to disgorgement.

In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant, pale gold hue with fine, persistent effervescence. The nose offers a fresh, fragrant aromatic profile featuring fruity notes of fresh citrus, pear, fig, and apple, interwoven with floral and vanilla nuances and finishing touches of honey. On the palate, it is fruity and lively, soft, and smooth. It has a creamy mouthfeel and a long, persistent finish, evoking notes of lemon curd. Try it with seafood, grilled prawns, or white fish in a lemon sauce.
