Champagne Brimoncourt Rose Brut
Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant.
Brimoncourt is located in the heart of the Champagne region in Ay. In 2008 Alexandre Cornot left his day job as a successful lawyer in New York to restore the inoperative Maison Brimoncourt and transform it into a brilliant and bold Maison de Champagne. After five years of hard work and passion, Cornot has managed to make his dream come true and since the first release of a Brimoncourt champagne in 2013, the company has consistently conquered national and international markets.
Champagne Brimoncourt Rose Brut is produced from a blend of Chardonnay (35%), Pinot Noir (40%), and Pinot Meunier (25%) grapes sourced from 12 crus. Chardonnay brings elegance and finesse to the blend, Pinot Noir adds structure and affects color, while Pinot Meunier contributes to the fruity aromas of the wine. The first fermentation takes place in steel vats and subsequently the wine is aged for 48 months in the bottle.
The wine shows a delicate and brilliant rosé color with fine and persistent bubbles. The aromatic profile reveals floral notes of rose and aromas of fresh fruit such as raspberry, melon, and bergamot. On the palate, it is fresh and voluptuous, seductive and elegant. The fruit flavors return on the finish which is fine and persistent. Perfect as an aperitif or for a brunch, with a plate of soft cheeses, and also with red fruit tarts.
