The Agrapart family have a long and noble history of making Champagne on their namesake estate, dating back to 1894 when it was first purchased by Arthur Agrapart. These days it’s run by two brothers, Pascal and Fabrice, who continue the family legacy by making exceptional Champagnes from their own prime Grand Cru vineyards in some of the region’s top terroirs.

This handsome Grand Cru begins life in the family’s Avize vineyards which are planted with a complex mixture of grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Arbane, Petit Meslier and Chardonnay. To add extra complexity and polish, the young wine is matured in oak barrels before the secondary fermentation in the bottle which creates the delicate bubbles. The final step is to leave the wine to mature on the lees for a total of 4 years before it is disgorged and released soon after.

Delicate toast, hints of pastries, and tropical fruit notes emerge first from the glass, followed by refreshing citrus and orchard fruit aromas. On the palate there’s a smooth mousse, mouthwatering acidity, and creamy texture from the lengthy ageing process. A great choice to serve as a classy aperitif for a special occasion or simply an indulgent treat.
